In his Theory of Forms, Plato posits that ‘Eidos’ are the original versions of everything we perceive – tangible or intangible. These Forms are pure and universal – a line, a circle, a spiral, they remain independent and unchanged by our perception. Abstract but absolute. The collection reflects the designer’s interpretations of the various Eidos that exist in our midst – absolute in their abstraction.
